Meet Nate...
Nate is the man behind Karol Coffee Co., which started with his dream to one day open a coffee shop in the Twin Cities. After learning how to roast coffee, building enough momentum to buy and build out a mobile coffee camper, and now buying a brick-and-mortar in Como Park, he and his wife, Megan, are thrilled to soon open their doors to the neighborhood community. They have been supported and encouraged by a whole host of neighborhood friends who have helped make this dream a reality.
Why "Karol"?
Why “Karol”? Karol Wojtyla (1920-2005) was a world-renowned philosopher, theologian, poet, playwright, outdoorsman, and all-around badass. He helped establish the Polish Solidarity Movement and bring down communism in the Soviet Union. His poetry, literature, plays, and public speaking engagements are filled with themes of adventure, living a full life, creativity, appreciation for beauty, and human compassion. We are inspired by his life and work and want to embody his passions into the community we're building at Karol Coffee Co.!
